Unusual place, authentic nature, pink sandstone cliffs, pine woods, dunes, wild beaches, emerald waters… A place steeped in history: cannonball oven, guardhouse, old quarries, customs path… The local rocks are the result of superimposed layers of sand dating back 470 million years.<\/p>

With friends, family, anytime, anywhere, Erquy has its charms.\nErquy, the world’s leading mussel and scallop fishing port, lives to the rhythm of the tide.\nFrom November to March, watch the fishermen unload bags of scallops for the auction in the parking lot near the slipway.\nIt’s also the starting point for sea excursions and the Vedettes de Br\u00e9hat.\nC\u00f4tes d’Armor scallops are celebrated in turn each year in one of three ports: Loguivy, Saint-Quay Portrieux and Erquy. <\/p>
